Clyde Peeling's Reptiland - Clyde Peelings Reptiland

- 22.03

Clyde Peeling's Reptiland, which opened in 1964, is a zoo in Allenwood, Pennsylvania that specializes in reptiles and amphibians. Residents of this zoo include mambas, cobras, vipers, pythons and other rare and beautiful snakes, as well as alligators, tortoises, lizards, and colorful frogs.

Visitors can watch a multi-media show about the world of reptiles, and attend live lecture demonstrations where they can touch some animals and speak with the zookeepers.

Visitors can also get a behind the scenes tour where they can see how a modern animal care facility is run, learn about daily routines, animal husbandry, and venomous snake handling procedures, and talk with staff members.

Reptiland has been an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 1986.
